How to use it

  1. Create a shared vault on the Vaults page.
  2. Invite members using a single-use invitation link and assign roles.
  3. Record assets in that vault and review ownership and combined totals.

Viewing and editing roles

Members can be viewers or editors. Assign assets to a member or shared ownership to review the distribution by person. Switching vaults shows the relevant records and totals. Your personal vault remains separate.

Membership invitations and share links

An invitation gives a user a role in a vault. A read-only share link opens a separate view with your selected visibility. Quantities and purchase costs are hidden in that view; showing the total is optional. Share links can be revoked.

Authorised access and encryption

Vault names and sensitive asset fields are encrypted at rest. The server decrypts them for authorised members; this is not end-to-end encryption. Members and people holding a share link can see information within the selected scope, so share access accordingly.

Questions about this tool

Can family members see my personal vault?

Members can access only shared vaults to which they have been granted access. The personal vault is separate.

Can I disable a share link?

Yes. Revoke it on the Vaults page and the application will no longer serve the shared view through that link.
