Choose a starting amount and a past date to compare the present value of gold, currencies and other supported assets. Calculations use dates available in the application’s price archive and its current quotes.
The tool calculates how much each asset the initial lira amount could have purchased, then values that quantity at the current available price. This puts assets with different units on a common starting basis. Buy and sell price differences can affect results.
Only archived dates are available. If a selected date predates the archive, the limit is shown. Inflation comparisons also require the relevant CPI records. Missing history is not replaced with predicted performance, and the result is not a forecast of future returns.
Only periods covered by the application’s price archive can be calculated. Older dates require the relevant historical records to have been added.
